Autism, also known as an autism spectrum disorder (ASD), is a neurodevelopmental disorder. Problems with communications and social interactions, along with repetitive and restricted behavior, are common in autism. We at Luczkowski are trying to do our best to provide for these children.
The CDC reported that approximately 1 in 44 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Autistic children often do not play with other children. Part of this is noticed during the early developmental stages of childhood.
W.A.G.S. 4 Kids trains both mobility service and autism service animals. Autism Service Dogs feature a dog with a child-safe disposition, temperament, and behavior. Commands are trained with both verbal cues and hand signals so that either may be used. Autism Service Dogs are valuable in addressing improved social interactions, visual and tactile stimulation, self-motivated behavior, as well as encouraging emotional bonding.
